    St. Sophia Cathedral is a cathedral temple of Kiev Metropolis, an outstanding architectural monument of Kievan Rus' and a multi-structural complex-museum. The cathedral is one of the city's best known landmarks and the first patrimony on territory of Ukraine to be inscribed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO along with the Kievo-Pechersk Lavra Monastery complex. Since Lavra foundation as the cave monastery in 1051 it has been a preeminent center of the Eastern Orthodox Christianity in Eastern Europe.

    The museum of Pyrohovo Village was founded in the late 1960s. For the period of its existence the museum has accumulated a rich collection of over 200 structures, some of which were brought there from various parts of the country. The museum also boasts an impressive 40,000 collection of folk costumes, embroidery, carpets, ceramics, articles of metal, wood, glassware, musical instruments, paintings, tools and household articles.

    The Khan's Palace or Hansaray was built in the 16th century and became home to a succession of Crimean Khans. The walled enclosure contains a mosque, a harem, a cemetery, living quarters and gardens. The palace interior has been decorated to appear lived in and reflects the traditional 16th-century Crimean Tatar style. It is one of the Muslim palaces found in Europe, the most well-known others are Topkapı Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace, Yıldız Palace, Aynalıkavak Palace, Edirne Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, Çırağan Palace in Turkey and the Alhambra in Spain.

    Yalta is located in the southern part of the Crimean peninsula, nearby the Crimean mountains. In the 19th century, the town became a fashionable resort for the Russian aristocracy and gentry. Lev Tolstoy spent summers there and Anton Chekhov in 1898 bought a house (the White Dacha) here, where he lived till 1902.
    Livadia Palace was a summer retreat of the last Russian tsar, Nicholas II. The Yalta Conference was held there in 1945, when the palace housed the apartments of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and other members of the American delegation.

    The unique geographic location and navigation conditions of the city's harbours make Sevastopol a strategically important naval point. It is also a popular seaside resort and tourist destination, mainly for visitors from all over the world.
    Naval museum complex Balaklava is an underground submarine base in Crimea (originally known as Object 825 GTS). It was a top-secret military facility during the Cold War. Models of warships, various elements of submarines’ armory, naval armaments and ammunition, memorabilia and unique documents are exhibited there. Staged exposition featuring submarine’s fragment and full-size figures of sailors and representing some point of a march is of particular interest.

    In the 19th century Odessa was the fourth largest city of Imperial Russia, after Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Warsaw. Its historical architecture has a style more Mediterranean than Russian, having been heavily influenced by French and Italian styles. Some buildings are built in a mixture of different styles, including Art Nouveau, Renaissance and Classicist.

    Rome has its famous catacombs and so does Paris. But the city with the largest network of underground tunnels is undoubtedly Odessa, Ukraine. Its 2,500 kilometers eclipses the 300 kilometers found in Rome and the 500 kilometers in Paris. They were used for various nefarious purposes over the years and as a base for partisans during World War II.

    Fine Art Museum can get you acquainted with a magnificent collection of the most interesting products of painting, schedules, sculptures. We will see old Russian icons, works of great Russian portraitists, and also Gold fund of picture gallery - Ayvazovsky's pictures, Costandi, Kuindgy, Vereschagin, Vrubel and many other things. The special feature of the Museum is underground Grotto where concerts, performances and other cultural events were held.
    The collections of the Literature Museum are located in 24 halls of the museum there are rare editions, manuscripts, photos, albums, related objects are on view here. Moreover, the Museum has its own sculpture yard with unique collection of modern-art installations.
